City Hall, Facilities to Close for Holiday Season
DEC. 21, 2018 – Most Grand Terrace City Hall administrative offices will be closed beginning Monday, December 24, 2018 and will re-open Wednesday, January 2, 2019. Essential City services, including public safety, weekend Code Enforcement, and solid waste collection will be in full operation. The City Manager and other executive staff will continue to monitor operations, provide appropriate staff direction and respond to emails and messages as necessary.
In addition to public safety, solid waste and recycling pickup, on-call Animal Control services will remain open and in operation. Residents may call Sheriff’s Dispatch (909-384-8313) for on-call Animal Control Services related to injured or aggressive animals. Street Sweeping parking enforcement ended on December 20, 2018 and will start again on January 10, 2019.
Don’t forget, solid waste collection service will run one day late after Christmas and New Year’s. For example, if your solid waste collection service day is Tuesday, then collection service will be provided on Wednesday. Any missed collections should be called in, at 909-889-1969.
We encouraged businesses and residents that are involved in construction projects to plan ahead and request necessary appointments during the holiday period.
Public Works inspections – scheduled inspections should call 951-267-4506 the day before the inspection is needed and leave your inspection request. Leave a message with your name, address, or location, permit number, type of inspection needed along with a phone number where you can be reached.
