The City of Grand Terrace is Accepting Applications to Fill Committee Positions on the Newly Created Ad Hoc Committee Citizen Committee to Research Ways to Secure Funding for Enhanced Law Enforcement Services

 

On September 12, 2023, the City of Grand Terrace City Council established an ad hoc committee titled: Citizen Committee to Research Ways to Secure Funding for Enhanced Law Enforcement Services. The Mayor and City Council invite interested residents to complete an Application for Citizen Service to serve on this committee.

TERM:             Begins September 12, 2023, through March 12, 2024.

The duties of the Citizen Committee for Enhanced Law Enforcement Services are to meet at a minimum, twice a month (dates and times to be determined) and develop strategies to secure additional funding for the City of Grand Terrace to enhance law enforcement services in the following areas:

  • Dedicated Traffic Enforcement Resources
  • Neighborhood Watch Programs
  • Community-Based Outreach
  • Additional Resources Committed to Proactive Services

Applicants must be 18 years of age and reside within the corporate limits of the City of Grand Terrace. Applications are available in the Office of the City Clerk and on the City’s website at www.grandterrace-ca.gov on the Planning Commission and Committees page or by clicking here.
