AS OF 11:00 AM
We want to provide you with an important update regarding the ongoing power outage. As of today,
the street sweeper will be running all day today, and we plan to have it on the main streets again on Monday.
Power Status:
Southern California Edison (SCE) has informed us that the power outage may continue throughout the weekend.
We will have staff at the Senior Center all weekend from 8:00 am to 8:00pm and we will have staff at City Hall 24 hours over the weekend.
Currently, the schools are without power, and Thompson Street is also without power. Barton Street has very limited power, with Stater Bros and Starbucks currently operational.
Additional Resources for Residents:
For clarification, the City is not providing generators to residents; however, we do have two (2) generators available for use: one at City Hall and the other at the Senior Center. If you plan to use these generators, please bring necessary chargers for your devices, as we do not have chargers available on hand.
We also have refrigeration for any medications only at City Hall.
Additionally, residents still have access to Community Resource Centers in San Bernardino located at Rolling Start 1955 S. Hunts Lane #101, 92408 and Rudy C. Hernandez Community Center 222 N. Lugo Ave., 924111 You may also contact 211 for further resources and assistance.
We will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates as needed. Thank you for your patience and cooperation during this time. For any inquiries, please contact City Hall at (909) 954-5200 until 7:00 p.m.
Thank you for your patience and understanding as we work through this challenging situation.
