The Blue Mountain Grant is Approved!
The City of Grand Terrace has been awarded a $212,000 grant from the State of California Habitat Conservation Fund for construction of the Blue Mountain Nature Trail Head.
The Habitat Conservation Fund awards approximately $2,000,000 annually to California Jurisdictions. The City must complete the grant within a 5-year period. The Grant requires a 50% match. The City will use Development Impact Fees (Park Fees) as matching funds. The City owns property on the Corner of Observation and Van Buren. Plans for the new trail head can be viewed
