The City of Grand Terrace is Accepting Applications
to Fill One Vacancy on the City Council
The Mayor and City Council invite interested residents to complete an application for one (1) vacancy on the Grand Terrace City Council.
The appointment to fill the vacancy is for the remainder of the four-year term of former Council Member Sylvia Rodriguez-Robles who officially resigned from the City Council on March 6, 2024. The term will expire in November 2024. Applicants must be 18 years of age, reside within the corporate limits of the City of Grand Terrace, and be registered to vote in the City of Grand Terrace at the time the application is submitted.
The application period will open beginning April 2, 2024, and applications will be available in the Office of the City Clerk, and by clicking here.
The deadline for filing the application is Tuesday, April 16, 2024, by 3:00 p.m., in the City Clerkâs Office located at City Hall, 22795 Barton Road, in Grand Terrace. Applicants will be interviewed at a Special Meeting of the City Council to be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at 5:00 p.m.
