POWER OUTAGE UPDATE

Power Status:
- Southern California Edison (SCE) has posted on their Outage Status / PSPS map that power has been restored in Grand Terrace.
As a result, the warm centers will close today at 6:00pm. While power has been restored and things appear to be calm, if we experience another power outage, we are prepared to resume our emergency services.
- City Hall: Closing this evening at 6:00pm.
- Senior Center: Closing this evening at 6:00pm.
Wellness Checks: City staff have performed wellness checks at the Blue Mountain Senior Villas today.
Public Works: Barton Rd / Honey Hill and Barton Rd / Preston signals are temporarily on a 4 way stop.
We are continuing to monitor the situation closely and are here to assist you. If you have any questions or experience a power outage, please contact us at (909) 954-5200 until 6:00pm today.

The SCE Power Outage Status map remains the same indicating some areas in Grand Terrace power outages can possibility be extended until tonight at 9:00pm.

- We are continuing to monitor the situation, and with the power out again, our emergency response plan is in place.
As a result, we will continue having our warm center open until power is fully restored. Warm Centers will include Wi-Fi, charging stations, light snacks, and water. The Senior Center will have lunch provided as well. For those needing refrigeration for medications, City Hall has a secure refrigerator available.
- City Hall: 24 hours a day
- Senior Center: 8:00am to 8:00pm
Public Works: continues to monitor traffic signals and debris on the streets to ensure safety throughout the City.
As our small, tight knit community faces power outages, it’s more important than ever to come together and support one another. We encourage everyone to check on your neighbors, especially our most vulnerable residents - seniors, individuals with disabilities, and families with young children. In truth, everyone benefits from a little extra care during this time, so let’s be considerate and mindful of each other’s needs.

Southern California Edison (SCE) has updated the outage status map, some areas in Grand Terrace, the power outage can possibility be extended until tomorrow, 1/23/2025 at 9:00pm.

We have received reports that the Senior Center, Blue Mountain Senior Villas, and Observation Street have lost power. Signals at Preston and Honey Hill at Barton Road are out, we have signs and flash for the lights.
As a result, the Warm Center at City Hall is open 24 hours a day until power is restored effective immediately. The Senior Center Warm Center will open tomorrow morning from 8:00am to 8:00pm until power is restored. Warm Centers will include charging stations, Wi-Fi, light snacks and water.
