City of Grand Terrace - State of Emergency Declared
Effective 4:30 PM on January 9th, 2025, the City Manager has declared a state of emergency in the city of Grand Terrace due to extended power shutoffs, which have caused wide-ranging impacts on the community, as well as high winds affecting the area.
This action will enable the city to more effectively address the needs of the community and will position the city to apply for state and federal assistance, should it become available.
